“Live the life you’ve imagined.” – Henry David Thoreau
Dear Friends, Families and Partners of Meeting Street Academy - Spartanburg,
Imagine a place where students are challenged to think above and beyond their academic levels, exploring the unknown while embarking upon intellectual adventures every day.
Imagine a place where a carefully guarded set of success traits are taught and embedded in the school community with dedication and sincerity. A place where such traits and high expectations work together to ensure that every student will have their choice of the country’s finest colleges.
Imagine a place where the dreams of students are cultivated and protected to serve the betterment of both community and nation. Where grit, self-control, hope and academic achievement are cornerstones in daily work and conduct. Where parent partnership is more than a newsletter, where community service is more than a handshake and where customized/differentiated instruction is the common language of all instructors.
Imagine a place where standards are exceeded, where the Arts are celebrated and where the unique personality of every single student is embraced with love and delight. Where children, teachers, and students laugh and smile all day long.
Imagine the best place on earth!
Imagine MSA and come visit us any time!

The teaching professionals at Meeting Street Academy are passionate about education and are highly qualified, certified and experienced in early childhood and elementary education. We staff each class of eighteen students with two teachers. This low student‐teacher ratio allows our teachers to meet individual needs and develop strong relationships with each and every student.
Our staff is managed using proven business principles, where everyone in the organization is held accountable to very high standards of performance. Both in and out of the classroom, our quality instructors have opportunities to demonstrate leadership, to conduct action research and to pursue professional development.
