Dear Friends and Families of Meeting Street Academy,

Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year at Meeting Street Academy where hearts, minds and futures come together!  We recently relocated to a beautiful new building and to bright smiling faces.  I am thrilled to be a member of a school dedicated to preparing our students to become future leaders in our community and global society.

There is a sense of joy for learning here at MSA as our families, staff and students come together for a common goal of striving for excellence and achieving at a high level through a rigorous educational program.  At MSA we promote student excellence through academic, social and emotional growth.  Our students use a value system approach which impacts all areas of their lives:  REAL (Relationships, Excellence, Accountability, and Leadership).  Our partnership with parents is invaluable in developing students to be lifelong learners, leaders and friends.

I encourage you to explore our website and to personally visit to see what makes MSA a unique learning environment.  Please join us in promoting excellence and celebrating success in our students’ lives.

I look forward to welcoming you to our school and sharing our vision with you!

Best regards,

Mary Ile Taylor
Director

Our Team

The teaching professionals at Meeting Street Academy are passionate about education and are highly qualified, certified and experienced in early childhood and elementary education. We staff each class of eighteen students with two teachers. This low student‐teacher ratio allows our teachers to meet individual needs and develop strong relationships with each and every student.

Our staff is managed using proven business principles, where everyone in the organization is held accountable to very high standards of performance. Both in and out of the classroom, our quality instructors have opportunities to demonstrate leadership, to conduct action research and to pursue professional development.
